Day 1 - Welcome to Namibia
On your arrival day at Hosea Kutako International Airport near Windhoek, you will pick-up your rental car. Then drive to Voigtland Guesthouse, which is located between Windhoek and the airport. The pool offers relaxation and well-being with a view of the waterhole where giraffes and other animals may linger.

Day 2 - Off to the impressive Kalahari Desert
Your Namibian adventure starts today! After a hearty breakfast you will travel towards the red sands of the Kalahari Desert. This desert is the largest interconnected sandy plain extending over more than nine countries! Today’s destination is the stylish Kalahari Anib Lodge, which is nestled in a lush green oasis under high palm trees, set amidst the red dunes of the Kalahari Desert. In the afternoon you can participate in a sundowner drive to explore the Gondwana Kalahari Park on the sunset drive and celebrate life atop a red Kalahari dune.

Day 3 - The beauty of the desert
Start the day with a plentiful breakfast table and enjoy the beauty of the Kalahari that surrounds you. Afterwards you drive via Mariental and Keetmanshoop to the Alte Kalköfen Lodge. The lodge is set in a stunning desert garden and proudly hosts the biggest collection of Lithops in Namibia. The 'Flowering Stones are displayed in a specially constructed hothouse. Many guests enjoy a guided walk with the owners around the Cole Lithoparium.

Day 4 and day 5 - Fish River Canyon
Today you will reach one of the highlights of your journey, namely the Fish River Canyon, which is said to be the second deepest canyon on earth after the Grand Canyon. It originated more than 350 million years ago and its rock formations are counted among the oldest in Namibia, even among the oldest known in the world. The next day at Canyon Road House is reserved for an extensive viewing of the rugged ravines of the Fish River Canyon. A walk from one viewpoint to the next provides spectacular views down the meandering chasms.

Day 6 and day 7 - Lüderitz and the Namib Desert
Your next destination is Aus - the perfect starting point for Lüderitz, Kolmanskop and the Wild Horses. From 1915 until 1918 it was the site of an internment camp for German soldiers of the “Schutztruppe“ after they surrendered to the Union forces during World War I in 1915. Nowadays the ruins of this camp are a national monument and open to visitors.. Living in small groups in the Namib Desert the famous wild horses conquer for decades in the barren fields and can be seen on the way to Lüderitz. Another goal for you to see is the ghost town Kolmanskop in the “Sperrgebiet”, the restricted diamond area. Erected by German diamond diggers at the beginning of the 20th century, this town is gradually disappearing under the advancing sand dunes.

Day 8 and day 9 - Sossusvlei and Deadvlei
Your road today follows the Tiras Mountains and takes you through the Namib Rand Nature Reserve into the Namib Naukluft Park to explore more of the highlights of your journey such as Sossusvlei, Dead Vlei and the Sesriem Canyon. Upon arrival, you can relax by the pool and enjoy the wonderful view of the wide plain from your bungalow. The next day, get up early, before dawn. Only in the early morning or at sunset Sossusvlei offers the world-famous shadows of its dunes. A motive that makes every photographer's heart beat faster. The afternoon can be spent relaxing or visiting the Sesriem Canyon. It is the result of a long erosion process.
Day 10 and day 11 - To the Coastal town Swakopmund
Today you drive via the Gaub and Kuiseb Canyons to the west coast to the coastal town of Swakopmund. Here you will spend two relaxing days at the Hotel A la Mer. The city offers great shopping and many adventure activities such as boat trips, quad biking, scenic flights, skydiving and much more.

Day 12 and day 13 - The beautiful Erongo Region
Today you drive from Swakopmund to Onduruquea Lodge situated in the beautiful Erongo Region. In the late afternoon you can enjoin a game drive with the chance to spot springbok, impala, oryx, giraffe, wildebeest, warthog, red hartebeest, ostriche and with some luck as well cheetah and leopard. Chef Ron will treat you with unforgettable meals prepared in the outdoor kitchen. He presents the cuisine from a different perspective and combines African style with refined French cuisine. Enjoy some relaxing days.

Day 14 and day 15 - Etosha National Park
You continue your journey towards the Etosha National Park, another highlight during your travels in Namibia. Your accommodation is perfectly situated only a few kilometer outside of the park and you have ample opportunity to drive into Etosh National Park and watch different antelope species, giraffe as well as elephant and with some luck even lion, hyena, leopard and rhino. Your elegant accommodation for the next two days is situated on top of an hill and overlooks a vast expanse of mopane woodland. Dine under a dome of stars on the outside veranda, sit next to a blazing fire or watch the red orb of the sun sink gracefully into the landscape from the sunset deck.

Day 16 - Etosha National Park
You spend your day driving through the Etosha National Park. Watch game at various waterholes and eventually leave the park at the East end to reach Mushara Bush Camp, situated a few kilometers outside of the park.

Day 17 and day 18 - Waterberg Pleateau Park
You explore the Waterberg Plateau Park, a nature reserve near Otjiwarongo. Hiking trails will take you to the most spectacular viewpoints and provide the opportunity to study fauna and flora.

Day 19 - Driving back direction Windheok
You return to your point of departure – Windhoek – where you spend the last night at a lovely oasis of tranquility close to Windhoek. Immanuel Wilderness Lodge is renowned for its fantastic food. The lodge and restaurant is owned by German expatriates Sabine and Stephan, an acclaimed, Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Award winning chef.

Day 20 - Depature Day
