Namibia Classic takes you on your self-drive tour to the country's most beautiful highlights such as the red dunes of the Kalahari, the world famous dunes at Sossusvlei, Dead Vlei, Sesriem Canyon, Swakopmund, Vingerklip, Etosha National Park, Waterberg and Namibia's capital city, Windhoek. We make sure you travel in a comfortable and safe 4x4 vehicle and provide you with a detailed itinerary including driving directions and GPS coordinates of your accommodations.
Day 1 - Welcome to Namibia
On your arrival day at Hosea Kutako International Airport near Windhoek, you will pick-up your rental car, then drive to Kappsvalley Lodge, which is located on your way to Windhoek. After checking in you can explore the city to get a taste of the capital of Namibia, or you can simply relax at the lovely Kappsvalley Lodge.

Day 2 and day 3 - Waterberg Pleateau National Park
You explore the Waterberg Plateau Park, a nature reserve near Otjiwarongo. Hiking trails will take you to the most spectacular viewpoints and provide the opportunity to study fauna and flora. Nestled on a rock terrace high up on the slope of the Waterberg, the chalets of the Waterberg Plateau Lodge afford grand vistas of the endless Kalahari bush savannah.

Day 4 and day 5 - Etosha National Park
You continue towards the Etosha National Park, another highlight during your travels in Namibia. Your accommodation is perfectly situated only a few kilometers outside of the park and you have ample opportunity to drive into Etosha National Park and watch different antelope species, giraffe as well as elephant and with some luck even lion, hyena, leopard and rhino. You stay at Toshari Lodge where the Namibian wilderness meets unbridled luxury.

Day 6 and day 7 - The famous Vingerklip and Damaraland
Continue to the next place on your "Buket List": one of the oldest landscape formations in Namibia. Here you will also see the spectacular Vingerklip (Finger Rock), a 35 meter high conglomerate rock formation. Vingerklip Lodge nestles in a valley and offers a prime location to visit Vingerklip, which stands proudly above the Ugab terraces. The lodge is also an excellent stop over to explore other attractions of Damaraland.

Day 8 - The beautiful Erongo Region
On your route from Vingerklip Lodge to Ai-Aiba Lodge you discover the beauty of the Erongo Mountains - a volcanic massif. Marvel at the giant rocks scattered throughout this impressive mountain range. In the late afternoon you can join a game drive, which shows the unique landscape of the Ai-Aiba Lodge and includes a visit to ancient rock paintings. The drive culminates in a sundowner among the towering granite boulders.
