Start your tour in Namibia and drive via the Kavango Region (former called Caprivi Strip) to Botswana and Zimbabwe and then back to Namibia for your return flight on a different route. Explore all the famous national parks en route and watch a fantastic and extraordinary wildlife! We make sure you travel in a comfortable and safe 4x4 vehicle and provide you with a detailed itinerary including driving directions and GPS coordinates of your accommodations.
Day 1 - Welcome to Namibia
On your arrival day at Hosea Kutako International Airport near Windhoek, you will pick-up your rental car. Then drive to Voigtland Guesthouse, which is located between Windhoek and the airport. The pool offers relaxation and well-being with a view to the waterhole where giraffes and other animals may linger.

Day 2 - Waterberg Pleateau Park
After a relaxed breakfast your journey takes you via Okahandja to the Waterberg Plateau Park. Your overnight stay will be the Waterberg Wilderness Lodge, The buildings of the lodge shelter in a long valley in the midst of the Waterberg mountain range. Built from red Waterberg sandstone they nestle under enormous old trees.

Day 3 - Etosha National Park
After a good breakfast your journey takes you via Otjiwarongo and Outjo to the Etosha Safari Camp, which is only 10 km away from Andersson Gate at the southern side of the Etosha National Park. Today you have already the opportunity to drive into the National Park to watch many different antelope species, giraffe, elephant and with some luck even lion, hyena, leopard and rhino. The lodge also offers guided morning and afternoon excursions to Etosha National Park.

Day 4 - Driving through the Etosha National Park
Today’s journey takes you through the Etosha National Park. Along the road and at the numerous waterholes. You have the opportunity to enjoy the variety of wildlife. For lunch or a small break to stretch your legs, you can stop at Halali. After that, you continue your journey to the Von Lindequist Gate and exit the park. The Mushara Bush Camp is awaiting you for tonight.

Day 5 - Direction Zambezi Region (former Caprivi)
It continues today in the direction of Rundu. As the day progresses, the surroundings become more and more rural and African. Welcome to the Kavango region. Hakusembe River Lodge is situated in a green oasis on the banks of the Okavango River, you will be warmly welcomed and pampered after a long day. Later in the afternoon, take a boat trip and experience the spectacular Okavango river landscape at sunset.

Day 6 -Direction Bwabwata National Park and Popa Falls
You continue your journey to the northeast of Namibia. The former "Caprivizipfel" is now called the Zambezi Region. Scenically, it impresses with its dense trees and many streams. Here live fascinating Namibian ethnic groups and an overwhelming number of animals and birds. Riverdance Lodge which enjoys a water side location, is only 24km from the small town of Divundu. They offer the ideal base to explore Popa Falls, Mahango Game Reserve and Bwabwata National Park, all within an hour's drive from the lodge. The peaceful and secluded location of Riverdance will suit individual travellers and families alike.

Day 7 - Namibia meets Botswana
Your next destination will be Namushasha River Lodge which is situated close to Kongolo, where Namibia meets Botswana. Drive slowly through the settlements, looking for elephants and the rare African wild dogs. Your current accommodation is the Namushasha River Lodge, which is located near Kongola. In the late afternoon you can take a relaxing boat trip and gain wonderful impressions of the water worlds of the Zambezi region.

Day 8 and day 9 - Zambezi River
Heading to Katima and shortly after arriving at the lodge you will relax in this beautiful surrounding. Zambezi Mubala Lodge, located on the banks of the Zambezi River, is an ideal destination for wildlife and bird watching. Today and tomorrow you can explore the nature and animals on a sunset cruise and other activities offered by the lodge.

Day 10 and day 11 - Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe
After a rich breakfast, you will drive to Zimbabwe. In Zimbabwe, a memorable stay awaits you in the small town of Victoria Falls, which owes its existence to tourism. Your accommodation for the next two days is Batonka Guesthouse, which is just a few minutes from the famous waterfalls. After arriving at the guesthouse, you can relax by the pool or explore the city on foot. Here you will find everything that is usually found in tourist resorts, such as souvenir shops, bars, cafes and a diverse range of activities.

Day 12 and day 13 - Chobe National Park in Botswana
Botswana! You drive to Kasane, where your lodge is only 12 km from the town center. River View Lodge is located on the banks of the Chobe River. A private home and the charming public spaces are set amongst beautifully manicured gardens, The Lodge is an oasis of tranquility and the perfect location for guests to relax and unwind before exploring the iconic surroundings of Chobe.

Day 14 - Botswana
You are travelling slowly to the south. Elephant Sands is a bush lodge in the north-eastern part, south of Kasane, of Botswana. Come and enjoy viewing the elephants at the natural waterhole right in front of the lodge. Watch these impressive creatures whilst they drink at only a couple of meters away from you, a unique experience!

Day 15 and day 16 - Nxai Pan National Park and Makgadikgadi Pans National Park
After a hearty breakfast, today's route takes you into the Nxai Pan and Makgadikgadi Pans National Park region. The Nxai Pan is one of the salt marshes of Makgadikgadi. Herbivores such as zebra, springbok, gnu, elephant and giraffe are at home here. Leopard Plains is the perfect base to explore these parks.

Day 17 - Back to Namibia
You have one last overnight stop in Tshootsha before you cross the border of Botswana to Namibia. The host Riana at Jungle Light Rest Camp is awaiting you with an indigenous and delicious dinner after a long drive.

Day 18 - Relax before your return flight
Crossing the border to Namibia. Onjala is situated close to the airport where you will spend your last night. The lodge is set against a mountainside in a small, private nature reserve with exceptional views over the Orumbungu Valley, an environment where resident game roam freely. The Spa at Onjala is truly worth a relaxing treatment before you fly back home.
Day 19 - Depature Day
Today you will start your last day with a hearty breakfast at the lodge, where you can also relax until you will have to leave for your departure from Windhoek International Airport. Here you will drop-off your rented car at the Car Rental counter and board for your return flight after exploring Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe.
